Surge
Of anger

Lend a hand
Of support
What else
Can I do for you
Today?
Quieten
My mind
To think about You
What you’ve
Done for me,
For us
To pull me
Out of
Trouble
And difficulty
Can I
Do that for someone
Today?
Or should I just
Sit and
Count my blessings
That brought me
To where
I am today
And
Contemplate
Which of those
Blessings
I can pass on
To whom
Will that be
Today?
Or should I
Step out
Of my
Comfort zone
And
Handle the
Distress of
Someone
Who will that
Be
Today?
So,
I’ll close my eyes
Quieten
My mind
And listen
To the wind
And glean
From You
What You would
Want me
To do for You
Today.
